AC Blower Problem

My AC/vent blower would work fine for a few weeks and then not work for a few hours and then work again. The blower now does not work at all. No matter what setting the selector switch is on the AC comp. runs.

I have checked fuses with no problems, checked connections with no solution, and smacked the blower moter with the fan control turned on with no help.

I read a couple posts that have mentioned a relay that could be the problem. I don't have a wiring diagram so I am kinda in the dark.

If anyone has had and fixed this problem or can provide info that will be helpful let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help.

James

Welcome to FTE!

Hopefully, someone should be along with more info than I can give, but for now:

Check your owner's manual, or go to motorcraft.com to view it, there should be a chart of what relay does what.

I'll check the wiring diagram I have and see if there's anything obvious.
