I tried the truck without the bug guard and I really like it! The grille is totally finished.

it looks really good dale. That chrom around the grill really brings everything together. I think a big ol ford emblem would look good there but it looks good as-is

Awsome truck. I think im gunna take my bug gurd off this week and see how it looks, but about the emblem, it doesnt really matter if u have one on the front of the truck or not because all the other guys see of a ford goin down the road is its tailgate haha but a big emblem would probly look good too. Nice truck.

That's probably one of the best looking trucks I've ever seen, even though I still think you need an emblem.

That grille looks GREAT! What a nice job you did. Really complements your already sharp pickup.

personally im not a fan of pretty trucks, but yours looks real nice. my vote goes to the big ford emblem. i have a very similar truck, though it's never been that shiny.....

Truck looks really cool. I think you should put the Ford emblem on though, whether the one you have or the big one that was suggested. I didn't see second pic without it at first and I thought it was cool that the emblem stood out in first picture. Looks cool either way but I think emblem would be better.

Guys, if we want to vote as to the emblem staying or going - please make a poll about it vs making a thread with 100 replies saying yes or no...it saves FTE a lot of bandwidth and hassel.

Nice work and it's a good example of creativity. It flows much better with the rest of the truck and takes care of my complaint about the billet grills on these trucks.

IMO, the emblem should stay on and possibly try a larger one. I think that it's still too large of an open area of billet grill. The emblem breaks it up alil bit and makes it more appealing to the eyes.

You should start producing/marketing/selling them!!

Carrige works makes a grill similiar to that. u need to cut the stock shell...but it looks great.

i say, get a little larger emblem and color match it to ur paint.

What do u mean color match it to the paint?

Make the blue in the oval red?

There's either Ford Blue or Ford Red....and the Ford Red is alil too red to match his paint.

Your paint is still in great shape. Has it ever been re-painted?

When I had my truck that was that color - the paint was absolutely perfect. It shined so well that I kept it clean all the time and loved just looking at it. My green truck now has a rough paint job (but it's been 4-5 years now, my other truck wouldn't look as good either). Needs some paint work...

MustangGT-

It is the original paint, and even though it has flaws, it sure does still shine good. I keep it garaged and well waxed, so I hope it holds up for years to come.

For everyone wondering, you had great input and I decided on a Ford blue oval emblem from a 1997-2003 F150 - It's about 5"x2", so over 2x the size of the stock one. I will post pics the next time I take pics- after the 4" lift!!
