The 351M came out when smog testing started and they changed HP ratings from the crank to the rear wheels, and at the rear wheels it has about 145 HP and about 275 ft/lbs.
If you get rid of the smog stuff and throw on a set of headers and a 4v carb w/intake and new cam, talk about a different engine.
Not sure about the 360s, but what truck are you looking for a engine for, and what was originally in it?

Hey! Thanks. I have a 77 F250 with a 351m. I actually dont need to change engines, i was just curious about the hp differences. Where is the smog located? I kinda wanna remove it now.
