fire dept Excursion
Hey everyone. Thought you might wanna' see what our light rescue looks like. She's on '03, currently with 15k. We've had a few issues, but overall a great rig.

Nice light rescue rig! A long-time friend of mine is the fire chief in Lebanon, Ohio. They use an '04 Excursion as a mobile command center.

i'd like to buy it when they are done with it. looks in preemo condition. bet they do all the upkeep too.

Yea, they're killer duty rigs. My only complaint is Ford doesn't offer them in a "service package" (higher and/or dual alts, hd brakes, etc).

What snow tires do they use?
There's no external antennas on that rig -- just hand-held radios?
Aside from paint and a light-bar, do they have a standard set of modifications or upgrades? It looks like stock suspension. An inside pic or two would be interesting.

Looks like F-450 front fender flares
Great rig.
Do you know if those are F-450+ front fender flares.
My 05 Excursion is in dire need of some 2"+ wider fender flares to keep the 36" x 14.50 x 18" Nitto terras from spraying the truck so badly.
I've been considering the F-450+ front flares.
Anyone have any luck with rear flares 2"+ besides cut out types
