I Need To Know If 1997 Explorer 5.0 Cold Air Intake Will Work On 1998 Merc Mountaineer5.0

Same truck, with different grill, I vote yes, engine compatments are the same as far as I know, you sould be allright.

Yes it will. The only difference will be depending on when the 97 was manufactured. The early 97's have a conical OEM filter and housing - whereas the late 97's have a flat filter and housing. Really doesn't matter. I would look at a MAC kit for it.

There are slight differences in the early 97 setup to the late 97 setup, but not enough to worry about....
