My favorite part in that picture is the "extra-height" cherry picker. HA HA I guess if ya gots big toys, ya needs big tools, too.

Yikes.

Off topic: Nice place Pro. You mentioned the Celica before, but I've always wanted to know some particulars about it. Any info you wouldn't mind giving us on it?

Cody...what WOULD you have done if you had done something to the powerstroke while you had your truck? You would have been screwed...

Screwed. Nah.

I'd have put it (the truck) on a trailer with the 265's and hauled it to my folks' house. Tractor buckets work REALLY well for that kind of work.

I couldn't imagine using a cherry-picker for a 1400 lb. PSD engine that sat 4-5 feet off the ground...UGH.

Absolutely. As in chicks like to ride in them and do many other assorted questionable acts in them The Celica is just my commuter car. Sure, I could have had a boring commuter car like most people, but seeing as this one spins up to 150mph with ease and handles like its on rails all while getting 33mpg I've got no complaints. As far as more info on it, its just an 01' with the usual assortement of poser modifications; TRD racing exhaust, cai, etc. Thanks for the compliments on the place. What you can't see is my new shop which the Captn' exploded in front off. People have bugged me for pics for ahwile and we snapped a couple on Ivan's digicam so once he gets home they'll get posted up.

Yea, I guess the perspective of that pic does make it look tiny but even that long friggin supercab will fit in the tall bay with room to spare...

850sf. Thats a 600sf bottem floor (max the city would allow) with a 250sf loft over the work bay. The big bay has a 15' ceiling which, once I intall my I-beam and hoist will give plenty of clearance to haul a motor out of either the Captn' or SuperBeast.

Pro...you were dumb enough to try and jump off the top of that? O_O

I would seriously drop 20 bucks if I could have had a picture of you marooned on top of the shop.....

Personally, I don't know that you could get me up on top of it drunk, let alone sober. I want one of those someday.

I'd forgotten I'd posted about that

But anyways, my beer was down there, what else was I supposed to do?

Anyways, it was a hanging drop so it wasn't "as" bad. Lucky my ninja training kicked in on the way down

Yea, I was bummed when the city told me what my maximum footprint was but it actually turned out pretty sweet. Propane heat and running water. Lots of storage and plenty of room to fabricate ridiculous stuff. I've still got to buy my bandsaw (again) and a hydro tube bender and I'm good to go.
