rear axle code

rear axle code

Looked at a 79 f150 for parts with a 9 inch rear end. The axle code on the door is 16x. I was just wondering what the ratio was of this rear end. Thanks.
BTW, what is the code for a limited slip diff?

i have all the codes in my gallery under "other crap"
code 16 is 3.50:1

3.50:1 with power steering and a tilt steering column

If it was a LS rear it would have an H before the number like H2 or H4

Thanks for the quick replies, too bad it is not a limited slip. It sure does have tilt steering though!
