starting issues
so when i try to start my truck it doesnt sound like its "catching" because its not cranking. I turn the key and I get a wiiiiiizzzzzz sound from the passengerish side. My first reaction was that it was a belt which it wasnt. Im not sure what this is all about. (86 full size) Any suggestions?

This has happened to me. First check to make sure your the bolts holding the starter to the engine have not become loose. I've had to tighten mine up. If it's tight and in place but did does not catch the flywheel, you probably have a bad starter. Fortunately, starters for Broncos are pretty cheap and they are a breeze to install.
