mixture problem?
Hey you guys,
I've got a 1970 F100 302 with what looks like a rebuilt holley 2bbl. When I bought the truck it ran okay for sitting for ten years, but it hesitates like crazy and it likes to stall when put in gear. I fiddled around with the idle screws, and I got it to at least stop stalling all the time, now it just idles like crazy. But it still hesitates from a dead stop. I set the timing and dwell, replaced plugs and wires, but I don't know what to do now. Please help! Thanks in advance, peace out.

for the hesitation off the srat i would also look at the accelerator pump...could be hardened up or out of adjustment

mixture problem?
If the truck has been sitting for ten years, there is a possibility that the advance mechanism in the distributor has locked up. Mike
