Need Help Please

I had a problem Sunday night and need your advice. I have not had a problem since my last post https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=451957 and thought everything was fine. I had to pull a 4000lb boat up the interstate after a show. I ran the truck hard for 1 1/2 hours and had no problems. When I got off the Interstate and stopped at the first light I noticed that lagging for just a second. The next light was worse. By the time I went to pull away from the last light and start up a hill to the boat dealer where I was to drop the boat, I was not able to get over 25 mph and started lossing speed at that. Nothing sounded right. I didn't hear the turbo, I did not hear the air flow I am use to. The trans. shifted hard, I did not see and thing wrong with any gauges. I finally got to the dealership and went to back the boat in its place. I had to floor the thing just to get it to back up. I put the truck in neutral and tried to rev up, nothing more than a muffled sound. No turbo or air noise. Didn't even hear the exhaust. I turned the truck off expecting it not to start back. I raised the hood and looked for anything that might stand out. I did not see anything loose or unplugged. I started up and it sounded good. I drove back home (2hrs) on the interstate and truck ran strong. I read the codes and had the usual 1119 which I get evertime. I had two new ones 1209 and 1211. I saw where WhiteSDFord got the same codes but did not list any motor problems. I have driven over 300 miles since the problem and runs strong. I have not towed since then. Any one got any ideas or suggestions?

When was the last time you changed your oil?

I changed it last week. I use the Delvec 1300 5W-30. Checked the oil level and it ok.

I still need ideas. I checked the for codes again today and had none. Truck still runs good. Planning a trip to the coast and will be using 4wd in loose sand. I will be pulling hard most of the week. I would like to be as sure as I can that it want leave me stranded on the beach.

Thanks

1119 manifold air temperature sensor high

1209 injection conrol system pressure peak fault

1211 icp not controllable - pressure above/below desired

Maybe the tuner?

P1119 Manifold Air Temperature Sensor High Input
That usually means a broken circuit. The engine will default to a limp home mode which is greatly reduced power production.
P1209 Injection Control System Pressure Peak Fault
ICP sensor? IPR solinoid? Poor connection at the two perhaps.
P1211 ICP Not Controllable - Pressure Abow/Below Desired
With what you are looking at here I would start by checking the IPR valve on the bottom of the HPOP. And every connection at every sensor on your engine. You live in an area where they salt the roads in the winter and that stuff can be insideous.
Make absolutly sure that there is no corrosion on any of the connectors. If you see any at all, peel back the insulation a little and check to see if the conductor of the wire is turning black. The ECU relies on resistance values gathered from various sensors. Salt corrosion will skew those values, giving false information, leading to a badly running engine.
You possibly have a lot of diagnostic work ahead of you, requiring a lot of persistance. Or a shotgun approach replacing all the sensors, the IPR and the wiring harness. $$$
Hope this helps.
God bless your efforts.

Question

Kwik,
Thanks for the thoughts. I checked every wire and plug I could find on the motor. Everything appeared to be clean and tight. The wire harnesses that plugs on each valve cover has alot of oil on and around them but everything else looks good.I notice you thought it my be the exhaust back pressure valve sticking closed in this post, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...3&page=1&pp=12 how can that be checked?
Thanks
