ECT closed loop temp

ECT closed loop temp
Anyone know what temp the computer needs to see from the ECT to go to closed looop? I'm having some undercooling issues.
The coolant hose on the TB split and sprayed anti-freeze everywhere. Didn't lose too much though. I pulled over within a minute. The hose was replaced and coolant filled up and bled. The spraying also fried my alternator, so I had to replace that too. Anyway, now the coolant temp on the gauge won't go up past the first bracket. I don't know what could be causing that. Maybe a chunk of something came loose and got stuck in the thermostat?

I had anti-freeze take out an alternator and it also burnt a trace into on the back of the cluster.
Make sure the rest of your gauges are working OK.

well, the radiator shop used a laser to get temp readings off parts of my engine. Everything was as expected, so I'll have to get used to the new normal position on the gauge (which is between the bracket and the "n"...slightly closer to the bracket...it used to be on the "n" or between "n" and "o").
