Headers
I have a set of heddman Hedders, and they're 4 into 1 units. I use my truck for low to mid rpm things, never really high rpm (But i'm not sure what "high-rpm" would be on a 79' 302). But my knowledge is that 4 into 1's increase high-rpm power, so would i be wise to modify them into 4-2-1's?

Almost all headers are 4-into-1, except for maybe Tri-Y headers. What really comes into play here that defines whether a header is high RPM HP or low-mid RPM torque is tube length and diameter. Shorties are high RPM Mustang-type headers, while long tubes are better for keeping the power down low for trucks. If your Heddman's are long-tube, they should be fine for your application.(Unless they're big tube, like 1-3/4" diameter)
Generally, we'll want 1-1/2" to 1-5/8" for our trucks with these motors.
