Stick Shift?

As I understand it, the E150 was available with manual trannies (what types???) through '87. Were the E250 and E350 ever available with a stick? If so, which tranny?

One of the other posters in this forum has a 5 spd van. From what we've gathered, it was only offered on the 4.9L I-6 and it's rather rare.

Most had 3 speed on colume or the 4 speed on the floor with 4th gear a overdrive. They switched from the 4 speed to the Mazda 5speed close to the end of them offering the manual trans. I remember thinking of ordering one withthe 300 six and the 5speed in 87 or 88.

1991 was the last year that a standard transmission was offered in the Econolines. The last standatd trans to be used in 1991 was the Mazda M5OD behind the 300 inline 6.
