03 Speedometer programming
Is it possible to reprogram my 03 f-150 4x2 XLT supercab speedometer for my larger tires like you can for earlier models with the odometer?

Yea, I have the same problem. I have 265's and the truck came with 235's leaving me actually going 77 when I think I am going 70. I don't want to buy a 400 dollar programmer just for that. Are there any shops that can do it?

yes and no. as long as the tire size hasnt changed dramatically (not out of the pcm's preset parameters) you should be able to have the tire size reset by the dealer. unfortunately, they will likely have to hook up the diagnostic equipment to even see if it will work---ie check out charge. my 2000 f150 was just a little out of the range, so i had to buy a programmer. worth a try though.
