Anybody have trouble starting their truck? It's a slow crank, but she keeps startin'. Wouldn't suprise me to have to get a new battery before the end of the week. My battery is original to truck and its 2000.

Exploder didn't turn over very fast this morning either, think I'll shoot it up to ORiely's tomorow and have it tested so it don't leave my wife stranded somewhere!! That would be a REALLY cold night in Duane land!!

I'm thinking about mounting the hooks to the light bar within reach of the drivers window!

To bad I don't have the snorkel on it yet.

Mine turned over great. The power rear slider is frozen part way open. Kinda forgot to close it all the way the other night.

Yep! Good camping weather for sure. Just . Went out just before 5:00 PM for a seegar. Was kind of nice. Wind blew my hood up but I didn't need to button up.

I've been caught in a snow shower or two out in Colorado and Utah. More than likely I'll see a few more.

I was just thinking about that. Some of them places could sneak up and snow on you pretty quick.

It's not bad if you sleep in your truck. I just stay in the truck and listen to music or play on the computer or read a book for a few hours and hit the sleeping bag early.

Can be a little trouble if you have to set up a tent in the middle of a thunder storm. Not a lot of fun in a bad snow storm either.

Kind of fun though to set in the truck and fix something to eat then make out the bed while you watch others scramble out in the weather. And then you can talk on the CB with others in trucks while watching the others outside.

Never had to stay put for very long waiting on the weather. But I do plan for it.

I plugged in the diesel block heater tonight on a timer so it will be warm in the morning in case I need to take it instead of the yota. I guess winter is here a little early. Have fun all you guys with snow blades.

I got an email from a friend in Nebraska and his son is using an old combine to push snow up there on his acreage. He mounted a blade where the header would go. I've asked him to send me pictures. That has to be a real "red neck" setup. I would get one for here, but I'd probably roll it on the hills. Duane, if your pickup gives out just buy an old combine for $500 and you'll be ready to go. lol

That should look pretty cool Del, but I hope we don't get enough to need a combine to push snow. LOL

Yeah, he lives close to Grand Island and they had about a foot of snow up there during that storm a couple of weeks ago.
