Question Power Steering Pump info?

Sorry if this topic has been covered, but for some reason the search bar isn't working for me right now.

My power steering pump has begun leaking on my 96 F-150 (4.9L). I haven't determined where exactly it's leaking from yet as I just discovered it while replacing my battery. At this point I'm anticipating that I'm going to be replacing the pump. When looking up replacement PS pumps, I see metric or standard thread fittings. How do I identify which fitting type is currently installed on my truck, so I don't bring home the wrong one? Any suggestions?
