Help
I really could use some help here. I started my truck at work to go home. She ran for about 3 to 5 minites then quit like I had turned off the key. When I turn her over the tach dosnt work and there is no smoke. I think its the cam position sensor but Im not sure. I would sure like some advice. 2000 F250 extended cab 4x4 7.3

Also check under the hood fuse panel for blown (I think) #2 Maxi Fuse. If that's the case the fuel heater shorted out and you need to unplug it, then replace the fuse. That should get you going.

I had her towed to a mechanic. He looked at the codes and replaced the cam position sensor. She's up and running again. I spent a little more money than I would have if I did it my self but the truck was only down for a day and she dosnt make any money sitting.
