All buttoned up!!!!
Well it's finished. No small job let me tell you. I went on a short drive(20mi)and had no problems. Lots of carbon on the butterfly valves for the IMRC. Cleaned it all up, no problem. The inside of this engine could be eaten off of. No sludge, no varnish, the cam looked shiny, almost new. You had to have a flashlight to see where the rollers ran on the cam lobes. Time will tell if it's fixed, or if it's a blown head gasket. It tested negative for hydrocarbons in the coolant, so maybe this is it. IF anyone else tries this, drop me an e-mail, or post in the forum. I'm a little slow in my responses, but I'll get back to ya, and maybe I can help.Keeping my fingers crossed.
