Shifting?
I recently purchased an '05 Ranger Edge with a manual tranny and I have some questions. First off, when in 2nd gear, it doesn't pick up much speed when I floor it. The RPM's go up, but very little speed is gained. 3rd is much better and it picks up good in that gear. It's downhill from there because there seems to be no power in 4th or 5th either. What's up? Is this the side effect of getting a 3.0L? Or does it have to do with the tranny and 4.10 gears combination?
