Zombieslayer, do you take your 65 F100 out here to Reno for Hot August Nights? If so, it must be pretty clean. My step daughter got caught in the parade a few years ago in here POS car. It was an old Datsun or something like that. Hardly clean either. What a crack up. She was so embarrassed. All the spectators were cursing her to get her POS out of the parade. There was no way out until the next intersection and all the cross streets were blocked off. She got caught somehow in traffic merging into the parade lineup. Poor girl.
My son also has a 65 F100 4x4. Last I talked to him, he was considering selling due to the cost of fuel these days. Sounds like yours might be a nice rig to show off at the NorCal Sactown Meet!

I paid $400 for mine and 2 parts trucks. Got it from a tow service in Placerville. Bought it off eBay sight unseen Drove it home and 3 days later tore it down. Lost job 3 days after that and took a HUGE pay cut when I finally did find work.
Hoping to fix that this week though

You got that right. Way too hot.
When it feels like 115F in the shade, it's hard to get up motivation to work on anything, let alone a vehicle.
I should be able to make it down. The wife is excited about it too.
Anyone going to bring anything to swap or trade? I got a bunch of crap, that could be somebody's golden nugget.
I have five or six 1978 to 1986 aluminum hub caps that fit F-250 or F-350. for instance. fair to good condition littering the yard, somewhere. .
If anyone's interested in doing that... Just an idea.
