As many of you know, I just finished swapping my 300 I6 for a 351W. My biggest pain has been in the brackets and accessories up front. I fabricated some of my brackets and bought a few from the junkyard. Well, the other night, I busted the bolt off holding my altenator to the block. Now, I can't get the broken bolt out of the block and I fried my fuse link (wire) when I tried to work without disconnecting the battery. Anyway, I'll try and heat the bolt tonight and see if I can't crank on my easy out to get the bolt out. In the meantime, I got ahold of Zoops and decided to put a whole new front end on my engine. All polished brackets and pulleys, etc. Zoops has everything to line up my v-belt system. But get this.....when I was whining about the arm and leg it was going to cost me, the owner got on line and said I'll pay the shipping and give you a 10% discount and put it in the mail tonight if you send me your check in the mail tomorrow morning!!! I have not had one supplier do that for anything I bought for my motor. These guys are great!!! Oh, and it all carries a lifetime warranty! Thank you, ZOOPS!!
Yeah,I know what you mean Steve! That would've shocked anybody on this list.Of coarse, now ZOOPS is going to get repeat business from the guys that need brackets on this list.Did you bribe them by saying you would post something nice? Just kidding! I am glad to hear you will finally eliminate your belt problems and finish up the front of that clean looking engine of yours.
Later,
Phillip
