The HD 351W had air injection (smog pump) into both the back of the heads and each exhaust manifold port to help with emissions. The regular 351W just had the air injection into the backs of the heads. Does your 351W have steel lines into the top of the exhaust manifolds by each exhaust port? If you don't need to worry about passing emissions you can modify the air injection setup to remove these lines and then you can run normal 87-96 351W headers.
