96 explorer lost spark

my 96 explorer with the 4.0 motor lost ignition spark and will not start, anyone have an idea what this could be ??

the first thing to check would be the fuel pump safety shut off switch.

check the crank sensor switch on the front passenger side of the crank pully, make sure it is clean and secure

Also check the PCM fuse in the interior fuse panel.

it started right up today!!!!!! I know it lost spark yesterday couse I put a timming light on it, is thier a control modual or somthing that can get hot and stop working??? couse it acted up the other day after it was driven
