clunking
allright i just got my ball joints fixed and i just did my shocks also done. and there is still a clunking noise there when i come to a stop. i cant figure out what it is, any ideas? it doesnt only make the noise when i come to a stop, it makes it when i go over like a pot hole or a hole in the road or sumthing. thanks

AH HA i think i found the problem... one of my crossmembers, ( not the one that supports the tranny ) but the one closer to the front of the truck had all 4 bolts missing! so it seems that that was what was ( wow talk about a tongue twister) causing the clunking noise. i havent came to a fast stop yet but i didnt hear it from the auto class to the parking lot. thanks
