Jake.....it's not too bad. My 2000 is mostly snap together with a screw here and there.
Once you've got the bezel removed.....four or five screws hold the cluster in. It will tilt out just enough for you to get your fingers behind it to undo two wire connectors. And then it's there in your hands. You might have to take the steering column cowling off.....on some you do....on some you don't.
