I was looking for some pointers for installing the intake gaskets. I have heard that it is best on a Ford not to use the two end gaskets and jut apply a thick bead of RTV? Any support for this? Any tricks to install the gaskets themselves?? Thanks.

That is how I have always done them. The rubber seals always seem to slide out of place eventually and create oil leaks. Run a bead along both ends and overlap the side gaskets a little bit to seal where the heads, the block and the intake come together.
