#4 cop?
what is the deal with the #4 cop crapping out in the 5.4 it just happened to my 01 f150 and i heard of many others going out at #4 anyone know why its always #4 is it a factory defect

Sometimes it is due to antifreeze dripping from one of the heater hoses. I believe it is usually a heat issue due to #4 being buried under the cowl and near the firewall.
