Round vs square front leaf u-bolts
I have a 1999 F-250 with the x-code snow plow leafs. I am looking to get rid of these in favor of some softer riding leafs from either SkyJacker or Superlift. Is there going to be a noticeable difference in ride quality? I already have the Rancho 9000's adjusted to level 2 and velvet ride rear shackles. I have noticed that there different U-bolts listed for different year super duty trucks. What changed between the two set-ups and is there any advantage to switch to the square from the round? I am just looking for a level truck - I leveled it a few years ago with the snow plow leafs when I should've used something aftermarket that did not increase front suspension load capacity.
