I've gotten many interested responses. Official folks are: TurboMonkey and myself (albeit with a different truck, since my F150 got wrecked over the weekend- darn GM drivers!) have paid up for trophies.
Is my "new" '03 Mazda (Ford) B2300 (Ranger) considered American? It says "Made by Ford Motor Company" all over it, and all the little parts have Ford logos and part numbers on them. If I peel off 1 sticker and 4 pieces of trim, you'd never know it wasn't a Ford. Especially if I swap the wierd "V" that's on the grille now for the blue oval off my wreck.

Everyone is welcome at the party! We'd prefer that you attend the race and cheer other drivers even if you yourself don't actually drive. My friend described it to me the other day as a 3-day casual party with a break for racing.
It's BYOB. And BYO-grille. Or at least BYO-meat. I'm bringing 2 George Foreman grilles. There'll be a few hibachis and a gas grille, probably. There's a liquor store just up the road from the Knights Inn, a 7-11 and Taco Bell just next door, and someone is trying to locate a grocery store (for meat, etc..)

Your not racing? Come on, it'll be fun

Sweet. Caravan details will gel as race day gets closer. Those of us caravanning up during the daytime will probably join up with a few members from other car clubs, and we'll take over I-95 from there. Last year it was a bunch of F-bodies (mostly V6's, many with superchargers and nitrous), a Neon, and one very loud diesel Mercedes. Going throug the Fort McHenry tunnel was awesome; most people downshifted for that.

I'm hungry now. Somehow, I'm in the mood for DONUTS. I think I'll eat two of them, arranged in my plate in a FIGURE EIGHT.
Or maybe just a giant cheeseburger... either one.
Congrats on your rear-end install. I drove Blue (my wrecked 88) again to day. Boy, do I miss that big six... And the looks from other drivers were priceless!
