Strokin an engine
I have a 302 from 1982 and am considering overhauling it and was wondering what size I should get it stroked to and what kind of perfromance increase and mileage I can expect. thanks

Stroking a motor is interesting and neat, but it would be simpler and cheaper to put a 351w in it's place. But go ahead and stroke it if you want to be different, have lots of cash, and want a challenge.

Get a Summit racing catalog. I believe that they have a stroker kit in there which includes crank, rods, and pistons. I'd have to look tonight to see about prices and all the other details.
