Question multi-function headlight switch

My owners manual makes reference to the headlight switch as being "mult-functional" (in the fuse and relay section). The only functions I see are parking lights and headlights. The switch pulls out when lights are on but book says nothing of this doing anything. Is this maybe for factory fog lights? What does pulling it out do?

yeah for fog lights the mult- fun switch is your turn signal . it controls your turn/hazard/ brake lights

Thanks 1olddog2. I wish I would have noticed that it pulled out before I went and cut a hole for my after market fog light switch. Oh well!!!!!! What does the turn signal have to do with the hazards and brake lights? Mine only works the turn signals and the windshield wipers/washer and flash to pass brights.

The "multifuntion switch" is inside the steering column, it contols several things. When it goes bad, you get all kinds of weird problems, like windsheild wipers come on for no reason, ect. The "multifunction" of the headlight switch probably just refers to the fog lights as mentioned above.
