my door post has an E under trans... im assuming this means the E40D...91 5.0

My Bronco has the E4OD, and an 'E' under trans on the door post as well.

If you have an overdrive off button on the dashboard, you have the E4OD.
Your shifting pattern will be: P R N OD 2 1 with the E4OD.
