What diff do I have?
03 F250 6.0 3.73 gears. Is it 10.25 or 10.5? How many splines? Im looking at a limited slip unit for a 10.25 and dont know if it will fit. I did a search and cant find any info anywhere. ID#731053f13 v420f

Ok will a limited slip chunk from an 86 F350 dually with a 10.25 35 spline fit in my truck? I can get it for a really good price should I or wait and get the Auburn set up?

The limited slip from the '86 10.25" should fit in your 10.5" rear axle.
Is it a stock unit from the '86?
If so there are probably some people here with stock limited slips with less miles and wear that they'd sell cheap.
Personally, I feel if you are going through the labor of installing a limited slip I would get a better unit than the stock ls.
