Motorcraft oil

Hi to all,
I have just come from two different Walmarts and could not find Motorcraft oil and filters. Apparently they are not carrying them anymore. I found some oil, Motorcraft 5w 20 at Auto Zone, but it was the 930 stuff. (SM)
I also found 5w 20 castrol that said on the label that it could be used in Fords and Hondas also SM.
Then I came accross some Havolene 5W 20 (SM) that had the 930 rating.

How about Chevron SM 10w 30?
My truck is a 2003 5.4 with 27k miles.
What oil should I use?
Thanks,
Ned

I would suggest considering the Chevron, Havoline, or Pennzoil in this viscosity range. They have a very adequate add pack that will give your engine a long life.

The new Motorcraft looks weak in the knees when it comes to additives .

It will probably do OK but you can get the same oil in Phillips for 60 cents less per quart and like Flash posted ......... there's better add packs with comparable base oils out there .
