Smile Hello, great site and resource on Ford trucks

Hi, I've got a '93 Ranger 2wd XLT 2.3L 4Cyl I'm nursing back to health as a commuter truck and appreciate all the info and troubleshooting knowledge here. it's really tremendous. It's been a few years since I was into working on my vehicles aside from oil changes and brake jobs, but I want to try and save some money, and get back to enjoying working on my little Ranger and paying it back for 150K + miles of dependability.

I've had a few Fords in my time

  • a 1965 F-100 2wd Camper Special with a 352 cu in FE
  • a 1967 F-100 2wd with a transplated 390 cu in FE (former farm hay truck)
  • a 1968 Mercury Colony Park Panel Wagon with a 390 cu in, with a C-6 power everything! AC Power seats
  • a 1984 Mustang 3.8L/ 232 cu in V6 Hatchback with the infanmous C-5 transmission
Hope to learn from the folks on here about my Ranger and how to get it back into shape. Thanks for such a great resource. I wish I'd had a source like this to goto when I was swapping motors and modifying my trucks back in HS. Kids these days have it made with the internet. No microfiche or parts guys to sweet talk to get info.
