Fuel problems
I have a 99 Ranger 3.0 flex fuel and I'm having some problems. It started off just ideling rougher than normal then the truck started and continues to start but quickly dies, as if its out of fuel. Initially I thought it was just out of gas since it was low, so I put in about four gallons and it still wouldn't stay running. So I got it home, i.e. a tow truck and disconnected the fuel line just past the fuel filter, which I recently replaced with a napa brand one. We turned the pump on and fuel was comming out but it seemed as if it wasn't pumping enough to pressurize the system. From this I'm thinking it might be a malfunctioning fuel pump but I just wanted to run it by FTE to see what everone thought.
