Man, we don't have bad weather in Tennessee"
I got Jet Jock down for one bald faced lie. Tell us Bill, how many times have you been delayed from taking off in Tennessee until they chiseled the ice off your jet. Just round it to the nearest 100 and we'll get the idea. Hopefully not in May though.
What I really posted for is to ask how far it is from Knoxville to Kingston? Yes, I know how to use Yahoo Maps. How long is the drive time, assuming I can avoid the Chicago Loop, err I mean Pigeon Forge stop and go cruise traffic.

I would say about 45 minutes to Kingston if you don't try it at rush hour.

Bill Lee of the Supertour got a couple of questions:
Do you have a feel yet for how many truckers will be coming out with you? Are you guys going to spend the night of the 10th in Jackson, TN. I am going to approach the Ford dealer that is on the west side of Nashville on I-40 about being willing to provide lunch and maybe a truck wash area if you all were going to stop here like you did last year. We, Music City F100's, are planning to head to K-town on May 11th. I likely will be coming back on Saturday evening. I have not been to the awards show in about 8 years. I figure the cost of a extra night when I can be at home in my own bed and passing up the long long long ceremony is Priceless!. Just let me know.

Question for Past Participants?
I have been to the Supernationals many times but have never been a participant, until this year. I have registered and will be judged but want to know how judging is done. Do they judge undercarriage? Interior? Do I need to be with the truck when they judge? And what are they looking for?
Just a note - My truck is heavily modified
Thanks in advance!

To locate Chilhowee Park (one way anyway):
Go to Google Maps (maps.google.com)
Type in search for: chilhowee park knoxville tn
When it loads, go to red accent thing B (on right side of screen): "Knoxville City of: Chilhowee Park"
When you get a close up you'll see Chilhowee Park Lake, which is in the middle of the action, so you know you're in the right place.

If anyone local Knoxville knows where the main local shop centers are, please post a list in the next few weeks, so I know where to aim mama.
Mama is coming with me instead of my son, and we figure 1 day+ at PForge/Seiverville area, and then she will need a shopping fix in metro Knoxville I guess.
Thanks, Paul
Golly, it is getting close; about 3 weeks or so!
