Help!!!!!!!!!!!please
I Have A 96 2.3 Engine Im Trying To Replace The Timing Belt And After I Took Off The Drive Sproket Bolt I CAnT Pull Off The Harmonic Balancer I Rented A Harmonic Balancer Puller And It Does Not Work So I Tryed A Crysler Puller And That Wouldent Fit So My ??????? Is Does Ford Have A Special Puller Thanks For Your Feed Back

The Star That Goes On The Main Bolt Is Not Long Enough To Reach The Holes On The Haromonic Balancer Theres 2 Holes And There Not Even Threaded So Evan If The Star On The Puller Was Long Enough Wicth Its Not The Screws Would Not Screw In To Them My Freind Came Over And Looked And He Said That There Must Be A Special Puller I Was Thinking Of Buying A Allpurpose Puller But It Would Have To Be Big Enough To Go Around The Harmonic Balancer

first off, DONT use a pulley puller, you will damage the harmonic balancer only use a harmonic balancer puller. the harmonic balancer puller should have come with several different sizes of bolts, regular thread and fine thread. did the one you rented come with a bunch of bolts? if not, call the place up and tell them about it.

I Got It Off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!! Its Kinda Dark Outside Now So Ill Finish Tommarow Thanks For The Info The One I Rented Dint Come With All The Different Sizes I Went And Got A Different One Thanks For The Info
