outside panel kit :-/

i received as outside panel kit for xmas for my 2001 screw. Has anyone seen something like this on a screw b4? i'm not sure if it will look ok

I've seen it before, looks ok. Is it pre-cut or do you have to cut it? Most of the times the panels are a little too short and I think thats why it doesn't look as good as it should.
