Does anybody know ????

Does anybody know if the running boards on this truck were a factory option, or are they an aftermarket purchase?

Your truck appears to be a 97? I have the same year, and yes they came from the factory.

Either ! ?
I have seen aftermarket companies like Lund make running boards like those and I believe my neighbor's F150 came factory with them. Look on the running board for an embossment or logo. Maybe underneath the step you can find a part number or logo. Sorry this isn't much help. You might be able to research your particular truck through it's V.I.N. to find out what options it came with. Good Luck

If the truth be known, I snatched that pic from another web site. I have a black 95 and would really like a set of those boards for mine. I just don't know who makes them. My wife has a little trouble getting in and I just like those better than nerf bars.

so your looks like mine. I know lund makes them try looking on the web site.
I think mine were factory installed also. I have a set of those crome nerf bars on the 93 and there real slipery when your feet are wet. the lund are real nice.
