Programmers Question

I have a 03 Ford F-150 STX 4.6L extend cab stepside. I just bought it about a month ago and LOVE IT TO DEATH!! But it could use a little more power off the start it must have some 200 gears in it or something LOL it won't even turn the tires over, and at 90 MPH it only tacks 2200 RPM's. Any ways its completly stock w/ 36000 miles on her. I would like to know if anyone has 1 of these programmers running on a 4.6 Liter and how does it do? Or should I just start with other modes intake, air box, exc.?Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time and looking forward to posting and reading these threads.
Thanks again
Mike

I have a 4.6L V8 in mine. The DiabloSport Predator made a very noticeable difference. It really pulls in the low RPM band. Intake and exhaust upgrades will also do good.

Since noone has answered yet I will jump in, even though I have a 2000 S/C 4.2L with auto. I have the Super chips 9100 programmer and love it. I run on the 93 oct. max performance program and it really kicked the truck in the butt. I would guess it was a solid 20hp gain. I first installed it on the 87 oct tow haul program when it first came in to deplete the remaining 1/4 tank of 87 and I could tell that something definatily changed, maybe 7-8 hp. At the current price of gas I have debated switching it back to the 87 program but decided whats a couple of bucks per tank for this kind of performance. I have had mine about 8 months and it is the single biggest difference performance wise on my truck. Electric fans would be second but might have achieved half of what the programmer has done. Throttle response seems to be almost instant, shifts noticable firmer and off the line acceleration much better at no mpg penality (except the price of prem. fuel). I also have underdrive pulleys, electric fans, MAC intake, ngk iriduim plugs w/ Accell 9000 wires, Magnaflow muffler ( hope santa brings the whole exhaust), ported and polished throttle body. The Programmer might equal all those mods together performance wise, I say get it first.
