Headlight Switch

I have a problem with the headlight switch on my 1994 F150. When I pull it all the way out to turn on the headlights, the dashboard lights, tail lights and license plate light do not turn on. If I pull it only half way out, everything works - but of course the headlights do not turn on.
How hard is it to replace the switch and how to I remove it? Do I have to remove the dashboard or is there a simple way of removing the switch to replace it?
Thanks for any input,
Glenn

Its easy. get a Haynes manual when you buy the switch. Check the wiring on the connector also. That is sometimes the culprit.

Don't think it's to difficult. I think on some you have to use the stem from the old switch on the new switch. Don't think you have to remove the dash. Go to Autozone's website and put in your truck info in the repair info section and I think it has headlight switch removal in there.
