Wiring Problem?

ok on my 1980 150 when i turn on my headlights the arrowing for the flashers come on, they dont blink on the instrument panel its a steady light, but the turn signals are not on. Also when i do turn on the turn signals there is a like a time delay, is there a problem with the wiring or something? how hard and how expensive would it be to rewire the lighting?

It's probably just a burned out bulb for the directional on the side the arrow on the dash stays on. I just had the same problem on my 80 f350. Replaced the front bulb and it fixed it. the rear one is still burnt but the arrow on the dash doesnt come on any more. So you may want to check all the bulbs for the diredctional/parking lights before you worry about a wiring problem.

I just fixed a similar problem on my 86 f-150.
Turned out to be a bad bulb socket (not grounding properly).
