yes but u need 390 crank connecting rod and pistons and my book that i got from summit how to rebuild your bb ford it says u can use those heads but in some cases u have to notch the top of the bore for vavle clearance and it helps it breath a little better thats about all i know......
You dont have to notch the bores to clear the valves with CJ heads on a 390. It will help somewhat, but probably not be noticable.
To convert it to a 390, you need 390 crank and rods. 360 rods will not work, they're too long. The 360 pistons, however, will work good IF they're in good shape. They have the right compression height to get good compression in a 390.
