Check Engine Light
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 XLT. The Check Engine Light stays on constantly and it is losing power. If it has more than a quarter tank of gas in it, it runs even worse. It has a miss to it also. Could this be the spark plugs ? Or if anyone has had this problem I would appreciate an opinion on this .

Have you been able to get the computer scanned for a code? If you live near an Autozone they do it for free. They can give you the code and then post the code on here and that will be a big help, and make it easier to get help.

If the light is on you will have code/codes stored in the computer. You need to have the codes retrieved and that will give you/us a starting point.
