i was wondering if anyone has pictures of 70's pickups with 80s beds on them, im considering buying an early 80s bed due to all the rusted 70s ones around here, but i don't know if i will like the way it looks

also if anyone knows of anywhere in bucks county, pa that has beds that are in decent shape

I have seen one, it fits but the body lines are way off and it stands out like a sore thumb.

yea, theres one running around here with one on. it's all painted the same color so i don't think it looks TOO bad, but like lxman said, none of the body lines match up so its definately noticeable. i guess i just wanna say, it's a bed, and it fits on there.

you can re-skin the 80-96 bed with 77-79 sides. you may need the tailgate side pieces from your old bed, but the floor and sides are close enough that most people would never know.
