2003 Explorer ?
Hello all, my 2003 4x4 explorer with 4.6 V8 occasionally stalls at very low speed , around 5mph. There is no warning of an impending stall, and it fires right up again. I live at 7000 feet, could this be a fuel flow problem related to altitude ?

My 2003 did the same thing, would stall at a stop light when the engine was cold. My dealer found a Ford service bulletin on this and reflashed the computer. So far no more stalls, time will tell.
