If you add the two digits in 99, it gives you 18 (9+9). Then you substract 18 from 99 and you get 81. This works for 99 through 90, the answer will always be "81". Now for the next set of numbers, 89 through 80, the answer will be "72". For 79 through 70, the answer will be 63. For 69 through 60, the answer will be "54". For 59 through 50, the answer will be "45", 49-40 will be "36", 39-30 is "27", 29-20 is "18" and 19-10 is "9". Now look at the symbols for 81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 27, 18 and 9. They are all the same.

If you play the game several times you will notice that the symbols change each time you play. What was stated before about the 9's is true on most if not all of these types of games. It knows what the answer will be and assigns a symbol next to each possible answer. Each being the same symbol for each of the same and only answer. Does this make sense to you?
