Brake Problem
I recently changed out a rear end on a 1990 F-150 2WD. The problem is the brakes. without the tire on, the hub turns freely, when i mount the tire, the tire will not turn. How can i keep the hub from tightening down onto the brake plate. Upon replacing the rear end i used the hubs from the old rear end. when it locked down I thought it to be a hub problem so i went with the hub that came on the new rear end but upon mounting the tire it has the same problem. It does this on both sides. The shoes are new and do not appear to be sticking out. Any suggestions?

When you say "hub" do you mean "drum"?
Assuming you do, see if you can figure out if the drum is rubbing against the backing plate or the ridge on the shoe. Try putting the old drums on and seeing if the problem goes away. Sometimes cheap shoes don't fit right, either.
