Lightbulb engine possibal?

ok,i finally figured out every thing on my trucks engine,its a 1966 ford truck 289 block,pistins,crank and cam,the top half is a 1972 ford truck 302,heads,intake carb and valve train,is this possibal and wut am i looking at as porformance goes,torque or HP,wut should i do with it?

Sure its possible.


What are you wanting the truck to do, street-strip-offroad-show-mpg/cruiser-make X amount of hp?


An idea of the budget would help.

ok,i was wanting something that could be good on the free way cause when i turn 18 im gonna need to drive 30 miles a day,so a cruiser,but i wanna be able to beat all those ricers on the street,or strip,budget,non-existince....wut parts and everything am i lookin at?

Keep the heads conservative (low end aftermarket), go with as much cubic inches as possible (stroked 302 or 351w), match the cam to your entire combo including the tranny and rear gearing. Apply your cubic dollars to that and see what you come up with.
